Taking Inventory

This picture cracks me up. It totally looks like he's taking inventory of his movies. Don't mind the green butterfly. I thought I'd save the boy some of his dignity.

Mother's Day

This is an old topic but I meant to put up a picture of what Joseph and I made for my mom for Mother's Day. We were pretty proud of it. My mom and I both love to use fresh herbs when cooking, but they get really expensive when you buy them all the time. What better present than your very own herb garden? I totally want one for myself now!

We planted basil, rosemary and cilantro for her and left one space empty so she could choose. She decided on tarragon.

Hawaiian Falls

Just a few pics I took of my mom and Jonathan at Hawaiian Falls. It's been so nice having a season pass there this summer. My mom, aunt, two cousins and Nana all go and they totally take over watching Jonathan so I can just sit in the water and attempt to cool off!

Baby bunnies

You know your grass is too long when a rabbit makes a nest in the middle of your yard! Poor Joseph has been so exhausted with school and clinicals that he hasn't had the time nor the energy to maintain our yards. I mowed the front yard almost two weeks ago and about went into labor so unfortunately I'm not the best candidate. Too bad Jonathan is so young - I'd put him to work! Yesterday, Joseph had a day off and spent the whole day mowing both the front and back yards while Jonathan and I went to Hawaiian Falls. When I got back, he showed me a nice little patch of grass that he'd "missed" so as not to disturb the babies. We've had baby bunnies one other time and he actually ran over their nest with the lawnmower! Thankfully there was no bunny carnage and the mama bunny moved them later that night. I took pictures this time cuz they're just so stinkin' cute! We'll see how long they last before she moves them this time.

Here is the nest from on top. I wish I had gotten a picture of it from our porch so you could see how short the grass is all around it.
Just to show the teeny size of them, that is the head of one of Jonathan's toddler golf clubs.
One of them showed his sweet face

Cute little ears!

Floaties

It's been so dang hot here, I'm trying to stay inside or in the water at all times! Here are some pics of Jonathan and Joseph having a good time at the ranch pool. Jonathan loves these floaties my mom bought for him. He has no fear of water and loves to jump off the edge to one of us, go down the slide by himself and be dropped off the diving board. I definitely have a little fishy on my hands.

Daredevil

That blur you see is my daredevil! He's totally comfortable jumping off higher objects now. Whether it be our couch, a stair or this here car at the mall. The world is literally his playground!
